Music player

Music player Here is a music player I initially coded for my website. It changes color with the theme toggle! The code is not the same as the one I used for the website, but it is based on it.

You have to enable JS on this page for it to work.

Player.exe

Playlist.md

The code and more details on how to use it on your pages can be found on GitHub.

    My personal website

In the past year or so, I've pondered making my own personal website, where I could post basically whatever I wanted to share with the world. Not really like a blog, but like a collection, a library, a digital "bibliothèque".

And, here it is :) That's how the idea of the Papirothèque came to be a reality just now. It's still barebones and lacks so many features I'd like to implement. But it exists!!! Really, you should try to just make things exist, and that's it. Create them now and polish them later!

It didn't take me longer than 3-4 days to have a fully-functioning basic website with an aesthetic I really liked.

    The idea behind it

My idea is for it to be one of the many respites and breaths of fresh air the nostalgic old-web revival community has given me all this time.

I absolutely love browsing through people's handcrafted websites, and I hope they at least enjoy the look of mine, even if there is no content yet!

    Plans

The main plan I have for it is to share free resources with everyone, as well as give it my own personal touch.

There are so many pages and tools I have saved in messy .md notes that I have to condense to share with you all!

    Little worm thoughts

    Little worm thoughts

    Little worm thoughts

The idea behind doing a fast-loading, static webpage, is that I want my work to be accessible to everyone everywhere. So many times have I encountered sites that either don't load properly or take too long for then something to be completely broken and my experience ruined.

If I'm honest, I had never heard about these types of sites, it was through trying to find a good portfolio cms that I realized it was not so out-of-reach to manage my own posts... in markdown!!! What?! How's that even possible? - I basically said right away. But, yes, it is possible, and so much easier than I thought! If you truly want a complete custom experience it might be a steep learning curve, and even for newbie programmers like me, I feel like it just falls too big on me.

I try to find the logic behind things and edit my own code, but then I get lost, try to find people with the same issues and, again, get even more lost because search engines are basically dead in 2025. Oh, man... I had to ask Github Copilot, then Gemini, then I started FINALLY UNDERSTANDING. Even with my current "hatred" for AI as of November 2025.

Well, it worked. I understood more stuff than I thought while I was trying to formulate my questions to AI, and realized I know more than I think and at the same time I don't know anything. In a Google AI course I've recently taken, they say they mapped a whole worm's neural network. I feel like that tiny little worm.

So, yeah, those are my tiny worm thoughts. I'm still working on this, I'll probably make it public as soon as I understand more and not shame myself to infamy!

    Gardening

    Gardening

    Heyy!

How is it going my fellow internet travellers?

I have been using Obsidian to take most of my notes, but I’m still not used to saving random links completely unorganized.

Some categories like gardening help me keep things in order.

This last spring I started gardening on a small scale at home! It’s not all been successful, and we have quite hard winters here and very long summers. So I ran into some trouble on the way. I will share some notes I took this summer with you!

These are my notes from 10-07-2025:

I got this idea from watching the video How Much Food Can I Grow in 1 Year? by Just Alex.

He seems to harvest his plants at different times, and I thought that I wouldn’t always have my phone in hand to keep track of such thing were I to have a garden like that. So it would be nice to keep it in my notebook, and therefore to have a good system to then be able to archive it digitally.

Things that would be great to calculate:

    • Water

      • How much water do I need
      • How expensive that amount of water would be
      • Impact of that water consumption, viability
    • Weather

      • Temperature, humidity, measurements in general
      • Weather patterns and their effects
      • Rainfall
      • Seasons
    • Materials

      • Cost of materials
      • Environmental impact of materials
      • Source of materials
    • Harvesting

      • Harvesting times
      • Quantity and quality

I share this since it might be useful for you guys, and as somewhat of a template of what a directly .md copied text could look like here. I tried to paste it directly from wordpress to VSCode, and it failed successfully! I had to do it manually after all, lmao

I might not have pets nowadays, but I love bugs that visit me.

Amongst them I had some giant fuzzy bumblebees get marinated and absolutely high on my sunflowers’ pollen!!! Enjoy the babies
